If it’s been a while since you went for your dive then we can easily get you back in the water and refresh your skills with our scuba diving lessons. Better still, with our active network of divers you won’t have a reason to be an inactive diver, so you won’t ever need a PADI Scuba Refresher Course again.
COST AND DURATION

- Optional upgrade: PADI ReActivate eLearning and certification cart – $75
- We run our scuba dive refresher courses over 1 day, in either the pool or ocean, or both
IMPORTANT NOTES
You must…
- 12 years old and min. Open Water certified (or Junior OW) / be enrolled in a scuba certification course
- Signed Liability Release and Statement of Safe Diving Practices
- Medical Declaration form and Recreational Dive Medical if necessary

Scuba dive refreshers are conducted differently depending on how long you have been out of the water and how many dives you have logged. We conduct these sessions in conjunction with either our Open Water Diver courses.
A refresher course is particularly beneficial if you:
- Just haven’t scuba dived in a while and want to get familiar again
- Are a PADI Open Water Diver course referral student who wants a refresher prior to making your open water training dives
- Are a PADI Scuba Diver who wants to upgrade to Open Water Diver
UPGRADES
Do you want to get that bit more from your scuba dive refresher? We offer additional shore and boat dives to further consolidate your skills for an extra $50 – $90. We also offer private tuition for those who would prefer more one-on-one sessions, to get the most from your instructor. EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
What You Have To Bring:
- own mask, snorkel, boots and fins at a minimum.
- We highly recommend owning your own scuba equipment as well.
- Academy of Scuba offers equipment packages that save you money and set you up for the rest of your diving life – check them out online!
- Equipment hire is available at the standard rates.
