Looking for the next step? Continue your diving in Melbourne and increase your confidence with the PADI Advanced Open Water Course! And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.
This is a great way to get more dives logged while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new skills by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.
Exploration.
Starting with an evening theory development session with your instructor, you will develop the skills you need to explore your favorite dive sites more than ever before. On your 5 Advanced Open Water dives, you will understand how to effectively navigate underwater using a compass and natural navigation techniques, as well as fine-tuning your buoyancy. Dive deeper to 30 meters
Excitement.
With the Advanced Open Water course being conducted over 1 weekend with 5 dives, you will have one of the best weekends of your life scuba diving and expanding on the skills you already have. At the end of the course, you will be certified to dive to 30 meters anywhere in the world, have improved buoyancy and have taken the next step to becoming a Master Scuba Diver or a Divemaster.

Experience dive sites in a whole new light when diving at night, and immerse yourself in history by diving some of the incredible wrecks that lie around the waters of Melbourne.
