The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. This course builds on what you've learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

You'll hone your skills by completing five adventure dives that introduce you to:

  • Mastering your bouyancy- hours are spent on this essential diving skill to make your future diving easier and more relaxed
  • Underwater navigation- fine tune your navigation skills to make the most out of every dive site you dive.
  • Night Diving- one of the coolest and most tranquil forms of diving, you will head out at night time to see the nocternal life in our beautiful waters of Victoria.
  • Deeper water diving-  By diving down to 30m you will be able to explore so many more dive sites safely.
  • Wreck Diving- we try to head out to a wreck on every Advanced course so you can immerse yourself with the history and beauty of diving on these aritifical reefs.
  • Drift diving- If conditions do not allow us to do a wreck dive on this course we will do a drift dive.  A 'lazy' form of diving that lets you explore a great deal in a little amount of time.  The bay is designed for drift diving with the ebb and flood of tidal movement in the bay.  See the sponge gardens or collect some scallops and have a ball on this adventure dive.

The Fun Part: So much diving.

The above dives that are conducted on this course are dive 1 of the specialty course.  This means that you get a snap shot into these forms of diving.  With over 15 specialty courses to choose from, we have selected the dives that best benefit all divers on thier Advanced course and complement the type of diving we get in Victoria.  Other adventure dives are possible with private tuition.
