The Stage B course is designed to further enhance the knowledge and concepts of freediving through exposure to the physiology of the human body and its effects with immersion. The freediver will learn to improve their relaxation techniques during dives and training. This will further enable them to safely and properly freedive to depth. Students will also familiarised themselves with different freediving organisations and the key personalities of the sport.

Completing the Stage B course with Apnea Australia will allow the freediver to be more confident and reach greater depths as well as see more underwater!
To continue your freediving experience, enroll into the Apnea Australia Stage C Freediver course to explore more breath-holding and depth techniques as well as to "fine-tune" breath-holding techniques.
