The Apnea Australia Freediver course with ACADEMY OF SCUBA

This course is designed to improve the freediver in more advanced areas of freediving. The freediver will gain knowledge in deep Freediving such as deep equalisation, packing, mouth-fill, exhale diving (FRC) and variable weights. The course aims to "tweak" the freediver's technique and take out the "weak spots". The course also focuses on mental management systems and advanced breathing techniques.

COURSE CONTENTS: 2 pool sessions 6 open water sessions course results in an international accreditation by Apnea International EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Students must have their own mask, snorkel, fins (preferably bifins), rubber weight belt, weights and a 5mm wetsuit. Pre-requisites

To enroll in the PADI Freediver course you must be:

  • 16 years old
  • Apnea International Stage B (or equivalent), Current CPR and First Aid)
  • STA- 03:30, DYN- 50m, CW- 30m
  • No prior experience in snorkelling, skin diving or freediving is necessary.
