Emergency First Response with Academy of Scuba

Learn the essentials of First Aid when dealing with diving and non-diving injuries.

Anyone interested in adventure sports should have first aid and CPR training, just in case. This Emergency First Response Course includes both primary and secondary care training, such as CPR, AED, and first aid. These abilities are also required for the PADI Rescue Diver Course.

Emergency First Response is a PADI affiliate that specializes in teaching essential lifesaving techniques to non-divers as well. The majority of PADI instructors are also EFR instructors!

Next Steps

Beside the Primary and Secondary Care Courses, Emergency First Response also offers Care for Children and other emergency training programs. After completing Primary and Secondary Care, take the PADI Rescue Diver course and the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course. Together, these three courses round out your ability to handle scuba diver emergencies.
