Please note that we are unable to transport gear from our shop to the dive location. If you have not dived in Victoria in the last 12 months, we will do an orientation dive with you on the first dive.

I scheduled a last minute trip to Melbourne from Texas and had just recently completed my Open Water certification so, this was my first dive out of training. So I called Academy of Scuba and scheduled two dives with a private dive guide during my trip. They were more than helpful in explaining everything to me over the phone. I picked up my gear the day before my dive and met my dive guide, Madi. The two boat dives went just as planned. I could not have asked for a better dive guide. I was nervous since this was my first dive in the ocean. Madi was great at calming my nerves and reassuring me all along the way. I felt very comfortable with her and would definitely recommend Academy of Scuba and Madi if you are looking for a private dive guide. Nothing but great things to say about the experience overall!!
